About Our Greenhouse

You and your guests will enjoy the stunning scenery at Maine’s first and only Greenhouse event venue which includes beautifully landscaped gardens and cut flower beds, tended rows of fruits and vegetables and so much more.

Beginning in Mid June through the end of October

We only book one event per weekend. Access to The Greenhouse the day before beginning at 9am concluding the day after at 2pm.

Our Venue

The Greenhouse has nearly 2,200 square feet under our clear roof top as well as two sprawling covered porches. The peak ceiling height is 18 feet with retractable walls, if desired.

A beautiful shiplap wall connects the Greenhouse to the adjacent building which houses bathrooms and a bar service area with both exterior and interior access for your guests. Alongside the building is a separate exterior area for catering and vendor access.

The Greenhouse is a perfect location for a smaller, intimate wedding or can comfortably accommodate up to 150 of your guests. Our retractable walls allow you and your guests the option to customize the space allowing the cool breeze on a hot summer day or shielding from the elements should rain arrive, all at a moment’s notice.

Our venue features:

  • Ample parking
  • Designated wedding party ready room and bathroom in the farmhouse on the wedding day
  • Full use of the Highland Farm property for photos
  • Running water, electricity and WiFi

The Lawn

A prime ceremony location on our lush lawn which uses the main entrance walkway and the Greenhouse as your backdrop.

The Wildflower Space

A mown path to the left of the Greenhouse leads to an open ceremony area and arbor surrounded by our wildflowers.

Tent

Three possible locations:

  1. Left of the greenhouse on lawn
  2. Right of greenhouse adjacent to the bar
  3. In the wildflowers

(Couple must provide tent. We recommend 30×40 or 25×50 as maximum tent size.)

Experience the Greenhouse to the fullest. By arranging the space to accommodate both your ceremony and your reception, you and up to seventy-five guests will make the most of your Greenhouse wedding.

The perfect transitional space to flow from ceremony to cocktails, reception to dessert on your big day.
